WALNUT HILLS LIVING MURAL

CINCINNATI, OH- 2021

This project was a collaboration by Artworks, The Walnut Hills Redevelopment Found, and Urban Blooms. Artworks found the perfect artist, April Sunami, out of Columbus Ohio. April and Tyler Wolf of Urban Blooms met in person and virtually to walk through the capabilities of the Urban Blooms Living Wall System and how best to incorporate it into a mural. Urban Blooms continues to push the boundaries of living walls with our third large living mural. Located in the Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio this beautiful installation highlights the diversity and creativity of the surrounding community. A total of 4 unique, curved and swooping living walls are integrated perfectly into the surrounding mural. These custom walls are covered in over 25 varieties of plants grouped together to create vibrant color patterns that match the inspiring mural.
