Background

A wonderful hairdresser, D Nowland, ventured out on her own and purchased an old storefront in historic Montgomery, Ohio. Her designer, Beauty Garage LLC, reached out as they wanted to bring a vibrant biophilic feel to their new location. After seeing the space it was decided that we would be installing two separate living walls, setting an exciting tone for this new space. Urbanlywild.com

Outcome

This project resulted in two exciting living walls featuring a tropical mixture of Bromiliads, Ferns, Begonias, Philodendron, Fiddle Figs, and a selection of others. One wall acts to welcome guests to the space and entertain them while they wait for their new haircut. While, the other wall acts as a backdrop for pictures for after the customers haircut. Both of these living walls are tied together through a central automated irrigation system.
